Sil Moison is a allround photographer who specialises in photojournalism and creative photography. He has his own freelance company called Moison Media where he is focused on telling stories through photos and text. He also works as a portrait photographer for different companies.
Sil started his photography journey with the camera of his father, it was a small and simple point and shoot camera. Anywhere he'd go, the camera followed. At that time, it was just because it was fun. 2018 was the year that Sil focussed more on his skills as a photographer, this was also when he bought his starter camera, a Canon 2000D.
When Sil was eighteen, he started to be more serious with his career as a photographer. He started volunteer work to learn more about the job. For example, he took pictures for a few artists and was invited as a photographer to different events in his city Haarlem. Later in life he followed two semesters of photojournalism. One in Utrecht and one in Denmark at the DMJX.
Last year he started his own company called Moison Media, worked for Focus Magazine and recently Het Parool. With his Canon 5d Mark IV, Sil is working on amazing projects and future exhibitions.
